Chris's Holiday Festivus Crumble

On the stovetop, stew 4-6 Fuji apples in a pot, add a splash or two of port wine and a splash of whiskey, a heaping tablespoon of orange marmalade, 3/4 cup (or more) of raisins, and lots of cinnamon. Cook until the apples start to soften a bit. Then take off the heat and let stand for about 1 hour.

To make the Crumble Top, Mix by hand the following ingredients in a bowl. Mix until it is small crumble size lumps. 6 tablespoons of cold butter, 3/4 or so cup of pastry flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, and a dash of ground cardamon.
Pour apples into a pie dish. Gently mix 1/3 of the crumble in with the apples. Then cover the apples with the the rest of the crumble.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

Here's a photo... after we ate half of it! Yes, it's that good.
